About

The independent paralegal profession started in the early 1990s, then in the year 2000, the State of California created a new category of legal service provider called a Legal Document Assistant (LDA). An LDA must be registered, bonded, and insured. They must also be a fully trained and certified paralegal. Paralegals working independently are authorized under California Business and Professions Code 6400 to prepare legal documents for consumers. Documents prepared by an LDA are just as legally valid and binding as documents prepared by an attorney. An LDA is not an attorney; however, they can assist you in the preparation of your legal documents, at your direction.

Trust Delivery Agents’ mission is to offer affordable self-help services to people who are looking for a straightforward alternative to traditional legal services. We have experienced and highly-trained LDAs who will identify your needs and complete your paperwork, at your direction. We provide excellent customer service and affordable prices. We do not give legal advice or practice law but can provide attorney-approved published information as needed. We will recommend an attorney from our network if you are unsure of what you need or if your matter is complicated.
